Hi Masa. Thanks for your thoughts. I bought an EV a few months ago after having a non-plugin hybrid for over a decade (with zero battery problems). My car was close to brand new, and does not have many of the limitations you mentioned for your car. It has the ability to be remotely pre-heated, which is a great innovation. It also has a very effective navigation system that locates chargers well. I have a home charger, and the point you made about not having to use petrol stations is significant and under-appreciated. That said, charging stations are usually unprotected from the weather; this needs to be fixed! I don’t find range an issue. I do want much better clarity from public charging stations on price and incurred costs though.
